Zurich Hanson: How I learned to make a difference in my community
[]
Post Bulletin
After the original meeting, the parents and gymnasts showed up to the next school board meeting with a mission: getting the school board to keep the equipment and the community ed program.
When I moved to Stewartville, I participated in our community ed gymnastics program.
The current community ed equipment consists of a spring floor and a few mats.
Our next order of business was to try to get the school board to approve a co-op with another school.
ADVERTISEMENTFinally, after a long process of reaching out and putting pressure on our school board and superintendent, at the last school board meeting, the board voted yes to proposing a co-op with Kasson.
