While Surrey has a plethora of great restaurants, including some Michelin-starred establishments, OpenTable has named its Diners’ Choice Awards for September, which are chosen based on "where your fellow diners book, dine, and review". The online reviewing site claims that its data "doesn't lie" because only 'verified diners' can review a restaurant on the site, and as such, just three establishments across the county have been awarded as 'diner's favourites' for this month. Another OpenTable reviewer who travelled from London earlier this month described the independent Italian eatery as a "great little find", suggesting that the food from the set menu was "superb". Using the growly reputation of Argentinian steaks, Buenasado in Walton only opened in 2017, but has quickly become a "diner's favourite" according to OpenTable.
