Traffic stopped on the M25, with queues for seven miles, following a crash near Reigate. The incident occurred near junction 8, Reigate, heading onto the A217 Brighton Road. One was taken to hospital as a precaution, and traffic conditions returned to normal at around 10am. Traffic monitoring service, Inrix, reported at the time: "Three lanes closed and queueing traffic for two miles due to accident on M25 anticlockwise from J9 A243 (Leatherhead) to J8 A217 Brighton Road (Reigate). Only lane four is open, four miles after J9."
