More infoTraffic was halted for 20 minutes on the M25 as all lanes closed following a crash between a lorry and a car near Reigate on Tuesday, September 23. Police were called to the scene heading anticlockwise on the M25 approaching Brighton Road, A217, near junction 8 at 6.55am. Queues were building as a result of the incident and three lanes closed initially. During this time, there were seven miles of queues building from Reigate, back past Cobham Services near Wisley. All lanes reopened at 8.40am, however National Highways warned of residual delays of up to 20 minutes.
