ERIE, Pa. — Sixth-ranked Minnesota Duluth rallied for a 4-3 overtime victory at Mercyhurst to open the 2025-26 season Friday evening. Senior wing Danielle Burgen, freshman center Molly Cole, sophomore wing Josie St. Martin and sophomore center Caitlin Kraemer scored for the Bulldogs, who wrap up their nonconference series against the Lakers at noon on Saturday in Erie. Kraemer, the national rookie of the year last season, won the game 2:36 into 3-on-3 OT. Kraemer and St. Martin both finished with a goal and an assist Friday. The Bulldogs are playing four nonconference road games in eight days as part of an 11-day road trip out east.
