DULUTH — A man who allegedly threatened to fire upon a local school has been released from custody. "I want to provide you with an update on the person who made a threat against our school last week," Carrie Thompson, principal of Laura MacArthur Elementary, said in a statement. ADVERTISEMENT"We were informed by law enforcement, Richard Neault, the person who made a threat against our school on Thursday, Sept. 11, was released on bail this afternoon after school was let out. "We are working closely with the Duluth Police Department to make sure our school is as safe as possible. "We are committed to keep our school, staff, and students as safe as possible.
