Ms Ward had previously told the Local Democracy Reporting Service that she was “very confident” in the case for funding being put forward to central government by the East Midlands Combined County Authority. Article continues belowPart of that comes from £7.5m the Mayor has available to spend as part of funding allocated to the East Midlands Combined Authority by the DfT. Nottinghamshire County Council will provide the extra £10m.
