Mental health champion Cho Ming Xiu was an 18-year-old student at a junior college (JC) when a close friend abruptly dropped out of school.
The non-profit entity is now a leading organisation working to promote mental health awareness and peer support among young people in schools and workplaces.
And, with their work, it hopes those dealing with mental health issues know that someone is there for them.
A year later, the government announced the National Mental Health and Well-Being Strategy.
It signalled a recognition by the authorities that mental health has become a significant health and social issue.
