Alex G kicked off night one of his two night stay in Austin at Stubb’s Waller Creek Amphitheater on Sept. 30, 2025. Following opener Nilüfer Yanya, Alex G opened with “Louisiana,” which comes off his most recent album, “Headlights.” The singer-songwriter played the electric guitar, accordion and keyboard as fans sang along to “Gretel” and “Afterlife.”After performing 19 of his own songs and a short cover of “Shallow” from “A Star Is Born,” the singer-songwriter left the stage briefly before returning to perform two of his hits, “Sarah” and “Mary.” He last performed in Austin in October of 2022 at Emo’s Austin.
