NAACP Annual Freedom Fund Banquet Friday in Natchez Published 1:56 pm Wednesday, October 1, 2025NATCHEZ — The Natchez Branch of the NAACP will host its Annual Freedom Fund Banquet onFriday at 7 p.m. at The Event at Gayosa. The Freedom Fund Banquet is planned as a celebration recognizing the 6oth anniversary of the Parchman survivors, the 60th anniversary of the chartering of the Natchez NAACP and the 60th anniversary of the Voting Rights Act. The Event at Gayosa is located at 410 Gayosa Ave., Natchez. Guest speaker will be the Honorable Mayor Darryl V. Grennell, former Mayor of the City of Natchez. Jamal McCullen will provide a history of the Natchez Branch NAACP.
