Blyth housing scheme set for major improvementsA supported housing scheme in Blyth is set to receive an investment boost. Newcastle-headquartered Karbon Homes is investing £2 million in upgrades at Athlone Court, its supported housing scheme in Blyth, working alongside Novus Property Solutions. Residents will also see enhanced security with a new CCTV system, a porch upgrade and internal scooter storage. Jon McDonald, head of supported housing at Karbon Homes, said: “This is an exciting project which we know will make a big difference to customers living there. Jason Smithies, head of operations at Novus, added: “We’re delighted to be continuing our long-standing partnership with Karbon Homes through this exciting project at Athlone Court.
