Government says it’s going to expand the scope of BC Timber Sales. The government released a review of BC Timber Sales on Tuesday with a goal of improving the organization and, in turn, helping the industry. The recommendations range from BC Timber Sales operating independently of the government, to setting provincial volume sales targets, to improving fire resistance by planting a variety of climate-adapted, deciduous, and native tree species in reforestation efforts.
