Some of those involved in the cover-up of Wasim Thajudeen’s murder in May 2012 were now in the incumbent government, SJB lawmaker Mujibur Rahuman alleged yesterday (01). President Dissanayake and other senior spokesmen repeated the same after they won the elections but had not fulfilled its pledges. The Speaker unashamedly facilitated the NPP’s political strategy, MP Rahuman alleged, pointing out that the government had in its ranks several persons who served the interests of previous governments.
