Courtesy of UA Athletics Alabama men’s golf participates in the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational. 11-ranked Alabama men’s golf team finished in sixth place at the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas, on Sept. 29 and 30. “We had a great week of preparation coming into this tournament,” head coach Jay Seawell said. In round two, he shot a 79, 9-over-par, and concluded his tournament with an even par round of 70 to finish tied for 52nd place. In round two, he shot an even par round of 70 thanks to three straight birdies on the back nine, and finished things off in round three with another 3-over-par round of 70.
