MORRISTOWN, Vt. (WCAX) - There’s been a long-simmering debate about what Morristown should be called.
On Town Meeting Day in 2019, residents narrowly passed a non-binding resolution to change the name to Morrisville, which is the name of the village inside the town.
In this week’s “Vermont’s Own,” Cat Viglienzoni visits the Lamoille County town that serves as the region’s center.
It’s also the spot, according to their website, “where art, food, and history meet.”The bread oven at People’s Academy in Morrisville is about to get a mosaic makeover.
After a visit to the Noyes House Museum, which is the historical society for the town, it’s time for a snack.
