Floyd denied the allegations, and it wasn’t immediately clear at the time if the issue could cause him any legal trouble. A Virginia State Police special agent appeared to be leading the investigation, according to the grand jury form laying out the possible charges. The grand jury, which is scheduled to hear the case Monday, will decide if there is enough evidence to allow city prosecutors to bring charges against him.
