MOUNT VERNON — The Knox County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday arrested Jocelyn Rose Maddox, a murder suspect wanted out of Lawrence County, Tenn.A KCSO detective saw Maddox operating a black Chevrolet Impala in the area of Verndale and Hillcrest drives.
The detective stopped the vehicle and Maddox was taken into custody without incident at 1:43 p.m.She was taken to the Knox County Jail, where she was incarcerated.
The arrest was the result of a collaborative investigation involving the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, and the Mount Vernon Police Department.
An arrest warrant was issued after a grand jury indictment from the Lawrence County Circuit Court in Lawrenceburg.
Local authorities said all questions regarding the case should be directed to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
