— The 90th Missile Wing confirmed an airman’s death Wednesday following an incident in Fort Collins, Colorado, where another person was also hospitalized. The airman, who was assigned to the 90th Missile Security Forces Squadron, was found deceased at an off-base residence Sept. 30. “This is a heartbreaking day for the 90th Missile Wing, our deepest sympathies go out to the families and friends of those affected,” said Col. Terry Holmes, 90th Missile Wing commander. The name of the airman is being withheld until 24 hours after next-of-kin notification, in accordance with Department of Defense policy. No further information will be released at this time to preserve the integrity of the ongoing investigation, per the Air Force.
