The Marijuana Opportunity Reinvestment and Expungement (MORE) Act would end federal prohibition by fully descheduling marijuana, in addition to several other provisions such as allowing expungements of past convictions, while the STATES 2.0 Act would stop short of descheduling but protect state-level legalization.
