Amelia Rose Boston, 18 of Trion, was arrested this week after reports said he starved animals at a home on Callier Springs Road. One of the dogs, Mia, was found very emaciated with her ribs, lumbar, vertebrae and other bony prominences easily visible. A second animal, Dodger, was also found severely emaciated with his ribs, lumbar, vertebrae, pelvic bones and other bony prominences easily seen at a distance. Atkins is charged with two counts aggravated cruelty to animals. Boston is charged with two counts aggravated cruelty to animals.
