Dontavious Singleton, 18 of Rome, was arrested this week after he was found with drugs while shoplifting at the West Rome Walmart. Police said that Singleton stuffed candy down his pants and walked out of the store without paying. While being taken into custody, Singleton was found with a vape in his possession. Reports added that the candy stolen was valued at $10.66. Singleton is charged with possession of a nicotine product and theft by shoplifting.
