(WTWO/WAWV) — A local student helped transform part of her former elementary school into a board game. Charlee Steiner is a sixth grader at Honey Creek Middle School in Terre Haute. Last year, while a fifth grader at Honey Creek Middle School, she had the idea to paint a sidewalk at the school like a board game,She wrote and submitted a grant to the school PTO, which then paid for the project. Many students were also involved in painting the sidewalk. She’ll show the school how to play in a video next week.
