Upon arrival, authorities located the infant wrapped in a towel inside a garbage bag with the mother's placenta. The baby was pronounced dead on the scene, and the Fayette County Coroner’s Office's autopsy results came back inconclusive. After searching her phone with the search warrant, authorities claim to have found "several searches, including different things pertaining to pregnancy." She allegedly, per the affidavit, told police that she drove to class but did not attend. Instead, she allegedly drove to McDonald's before going to her university clinic, but did not go inside to receive care and returned home, where police were waiting.
