This local bear will have a very nice hibernation, thanks to donations the Edgewood park has received.
EDGEWOOD, N.M. — A New Mexico wildlife park saw success after calling on the community for donations to help feed Maggie the bear.
Maggie is a 2-year-old black bear who lives at Wildlife West Nature Park in Edgewood.
“This bear eats $1,000 a month of food,” Wildlife West Nature Park Founder and Director Roger Alink said.
