San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy will miss Thursday night’s showdown against the host Los Angeles Rams due to his turf toe injury. Purdy missed practice Wednesday for the third straight day. Jones injured a knee during Week 3 but is now healthy and was a full practice participant all week. Purdy, 25, has completed 48 of 73 passes for 586 yards, with four touchdowns and four interceptions in his two games as a starter. Jones, 27, is 53-of-80 passing for 563 yards, with four scores and one pick while going 2-0 in his two starts.
