By Lilli DwyerInkFreeNewsMILFORD — Milford Town Council held a special meeting Wednesday, Oct. 1 to address a water tower leak and a change order for the water line replacement project going on now. The council approved the change order. Dixon Engineering, which has previously painted Milford’s water tower, is about to wrap up a project on the water tower in Syracuse. Marquart said the mobilization fee would be reduced due to the short distance, making for a total project cost of $14,600. Marquart has alerted the Milford Volunteer Fire Department that the tower is being drained and water will be sourced from wells until the project is done.
