(ABC 6 News) – For the first time since 2018 into early 2019, the federal government has shut down, leaving millions of federal workers in limbo and wondering what will happen to their jobs. Minnesota is home to more than 20,000 federal workers, all of whom will not be receiving a paycheck until the shutdown is resolved while some may lose their jobs entirely. So for those folks like how many of them just walk off the jobs and just quit.”If that happens, more than just federal workers can begin feeling the strain. Amid all of this struggle as well, the Trump administration has said that instead of furloughing many federal workers, as is typical, it will instead be looking to fire workers permanently.
