ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A 16-year-old boy is fighting for his life after the stolen Kia Sportage he was driving crashed into another vehicle Wednesday.
The crash happened at the corner of Epworth Street and Dr. Samuel McCree Way at about 3:35 p.m. Wednesday.
The Kia, with four teenagers inside, was driving recklessly in the area, including on ball fields at Loretta Johnson Middle School on Genesee Street, according to Rochester Police.
The two occupants in the car the Kia hit also were taken to Strong for complaints of pain.
Two of the three Kia passengers — a 15-year-old boy and 15-year-old girl — were taken to Strong as well; police said their injuries are not life-threatening.
