In the wake of last Wednesday’s attack on Annunciation School, Catholics in the Twin Cities are certainly hurting, myself included; everyone has some sort of personal connection to the tragedy.
To be clear, I do not imagine for a moment that Mr. Frey intended to insult grieving Catholics by disparaging their faith.
It has been clear for years that our state’s leadership does not appreciate Catholics or our contributions to this region.
He had just proposed that $50 million be allocated to improve public school security, but religious schools were excluded from participation.
Tell Twin Cities Catholics that we are valued and that attention is being given to our security needs.
