Hawcombe Care has added Comberton Nursing Home in Amblecote to its portfolio as part of a buy-and-build strategy. Comberton provides nursing and residential care for up to 36 residents, including people with dementia, and employs 50 staff. Comberton Nursing Home, Amblecote, StourbridgeHawcombe, which also owns The Hawthorns care home in Edgbaston, Birmingham, has acquired the home in King William Street from Astley Care for an undisclosed sum. It has a good reputation and occupancy levels, and we are excited about making long-term improvements to the home. Earlier in the summer, Montane brokered Astley Care’s sale of Hillcroft Nursing & Residential Home in Wordsley, near Stourbridge, to Gugan Healthcare.
