The staff who chased this person should be praised for they could have been injured, then to have an officer come along and basically minimise a theft. For this individual to just walk into a store and steal will not be the first time he will have done this type of crime. He did not steal the credit card machine because it looked nice, he stole it for a purpose. if anyone stole a loaf they would be deported to Australia (and I'm not saying that should happen now). The criminals of this nation are now laughing their socks off.
