The five bins, purpose-made by local manufacturer Sweetnam & Bradley, cost the council nearly £5,000. The new bins have sections for general waste and mixed recycling, including drinks cans, plastic bottles, paper and cardboard. Malmesbury mayor, Stephen James, said: "This investment of nearly £5,000 in new recycling bins shows our commitment to making Malmesbury a greener, cleaner town. "We're pleased to have supported a local business, Sweetnam & Bradley, who purpose-made these bins. "With separate sections for general waste and mixed recycling, we’re hoping they’ll make it much easier for everyone to do their bit for the town and the environment."
