Another pupil said: "At 4.45pm, most students were told to go into the Deer Park sports hall, and some were told to go to the Cirencester College Sundial Theatre. "There were rumours that someone had a knife nearby or a bomb threat hoax." A spokesperson for Gloucestershire Police said: "We were called shortly before 4.15pm today (Wednesday) after Cirencester College initiated a lockdown due to a threat. The latest statement from Cirencester College, issued at 5.15pm, read: "The site is now reopen, and buses are leaving shortly to get students home.
