The BGO Oldtimer Big Band will perform in Malmesbury on Friday, October 3, as part of the town’s twinning relationship with Bad Hersfeld. The concert has been organised by the Malmesbury and District Twinning Association and will feature a programme of swing, jazz, pop and film music. Mr Hahn’s former students travel from across Germany to rehearse in Bad Hersfeld several times a year. The group regularly performs at the Bad Hersfeld Jazz Festival and Festspiele, and tours throughout Germany. Tickets cost £10 for adults and £5 for under-16s and are available from the Malmesbury Tourist Information Centre or via the Malmesbury Twinning website.
