Bank to reduce opening hours in Cirencester as others close

Lloyds Bank, located in Cirencester’s Castle Street, will see its opening hours change from Monday, September 29.
A poster displayed in the window of Lloyds Bank’s Castle Street branch indicates that the bank’s new opening hours will be from 9.30am to 4.30pm every day except for Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.
Lloyds Bank’s previous opening hours at Castle Street were 9am to 5pm from Monday to Friday and 9am to 1pm on Saturday.
According to a document about the reduction in the branch's opening hours, 91 per cent of branch customers used various ways to bank.
75 per cent of branch customers used Santander's online, mobile or telephone banking services, while 27 per cent additionally used another Santander branch.
