The Wiltshire Wildlife Trust has been granted £152,028 by the North Wessex Downs National Landscape's Farming in a Protected Landscape programme for the Chalkland Revival project. The project, which will run until March 2026, aims to restore nature and promote sustainable farming across more than 40,000 hectares of the North Wessex Downs. It brings together various partners, including The British Deer Society, the Soil Association, and Wiltshire and Swindon Biological Records Centre (WSBRC), alongside five farm clusters. Carrie Starbuck, the director of nature recovery at Wiltshire Wildlife Trust, said: "We are thrilled to launch the Chalkland Revival project.
