Food retailer Aldi and Costa Coffee are both proposed to be built off Fosse Way (A429), forming part of the Bourton Industrial Park extension. Rob Jones, Aldi real estate director said: "We are thrilled to bring forward plans for a new Aldi store, together with Costa Coffee in Bourton-on-the-Water, investing over £7 million in the local area and creating up to 60 jobs. Aldi already has numerous stores within the region, such as within Moreton-on-Marsh, Chipping Norton and Cirencester. If successful, the proposal is set to create 40 full and part-time jobs at the new Aldi supermarket, alongside an additional 20 at Costa Coffee. The proposal sets out for a total of 127 car parking spaces, including six accessible spaces, nine parent and child spaces and 10 electric vehicle charging points - including four rapid EVC bays.
