The state’s young athletes secured two silver and two bronze medals, showcasing their talent across track and field events. In the U-18 girls’ javelin throw (10m approach), Tusame Marak won a bronze medal with a throw of 35.04m. With these results, Meghalaya’s medal tally after Day 2 stands at three silver and three bronze medals, keeping the state firmly in contention as the championship progresses. The strong showing on Day 2 has not only boosted Meghalaya’s medal tally but also highlighted the growing promise of the state’s young athletes on the regional stage.
