By Our ReporterShillong, Sep 23: The 2nd Inter-School Shooting Championship 2025 concluded successfully on Sunday at the Assam Regimental Centre, Happy Valley, Shillong, showcasing the talent and discipline of budding shooters from across Meghalaya. Organised by the Shooting Association of Meghalaya (SAM), the championship saw participation from 29 students representing 17 schools from Shillong and Tura. Notably, the event also included specially-abled competitors from the hearing-impaired category, underlining the Association’s commitment to inclusivity and equal opportunity in sports. The President and General Secretary of SAM extended their gratitude to the Assam Regimental Centre for its support in hosting the championship, stressing the importance of nurturing shooting talent at the grassroots level to build a strong foundation for the sport in Meghalaya. The championship concluded with a prize distribution ceremony where winners were felicitated for their performance and commitment.
