Police have shut several roads on the city border this morning, after Pro-Palestine protesters gathered at a Leicestershire drone factory. Leicestershire Police was called just before 5.15am today (Tuesday, September 23) following reports of the incident at UAV Tactical Systems, in Braunstone Town. The group claimed in the statement that UAV Tactical Systems' majority shareholder Elbit Systems was "Israel's biggest weapons maker". A spokesperson for UAV Tactical Systems (U-TacS) said: "We will work with the authorities to prosecute any person or group threatening the safety of our staff or committing criminal damage whilst we provide critical capability to the British armed forces. Forensics officers have also been spotted at the scene, and a police drone has been seen in the area.
