In the post on Facebook, officials said Zephyr — a 9-month-old puppy — has gained 4 pounds since arriving at the shelter last Friday. A person had found the puppy starving and extremely weak in the pumpkin patch last week. The Capital Humane Society said it will continue to provide updates on Zephyr as she continues to recover.
