He said the provision of post-retirement counseling will be further expanded in Delhi, and Rs 20 crore will be spent on developing recreation centres, to promote mental health well being of senior citizens. Along with this, the Savitribai Phule Old Age Home in Paschim Vihar has also been inaugurated, which will provide modern and secure housing facilities for 96 senior citizens. Indraj said all eligible senior citizens will receive the benefit of pension, and if they require any assistive device, they may inform the department. The Social Welfare Minister emphasized that the Delhi government is providing not only facilities, but also security and dignity to the elderly. He has appealed to people, saying that everyone must respect and support senior citizens.
