Abu Dhabi has opened its first Nvidia AI Technology Center in the Middle East, a joint initiative with the US chipmaker aimed at advancing robotics and artificial intelligence research. Announced by the Technology Innovation Institute (TII) on Monday, the centre combines Nvidia’s AI models and computing power with Abu Dhabi’s applied research programmes. By embedding this technology into its research, TII can speed up projects that were previously limited by computing power.
