A 44-year-old man was arrested Monday night after a domestic altercation in Christiansted ended with a stabbing, the Virgin Islands Police Department reported. At about 8:30 p.m., patrol officers responded to a residence where they found an adult male victim with a stab wound to his right forearm. The victim told police that Amono Ysidore stabbed him after a verbal argument escalated into a physical fight. According to the victim, the dispute began over a cellphone charger Ysidore could not locate, police said. He was advised of his Miranda rights and arrested on a charge of third-degree assault, domestic violence.
