TechArt has just unveiled the TSport R, its take on the current-generation Porsche 911 Carrera T. The German tuner’s latest creation is faster and lighter than the car it’s based on, but its most intriguing feature, at least to us, is a gear shifter made of bog wood.
The TSport R wears a new front splitter, roof spoiler, rear diffuser, and ducktail spoiler, all of which are made from carbon-fiber to keep weight down.
TechArt offers four different equipment packages—Ansteig, Höhenmeter, Kurvenrausch, and Berggipfel—the latter three of which come with a gear shifter that was crafted from “thousands-of-years-old” bog oak.
