It was just released by a health industry study group that health insurance costs will be rising for people all across the nation, by very large numbers, including here in Minnesota, due to the subsidies provided by the Affordable Care Act expiring soon. Additionally, we can anticipate that hospitals, especially rural hospitals, will be closing or curtailing services; wait times in clinics and ERs will increase; and rural areas will likely lose physicians. It is estimated that up to 200,000 Minnesotans will lose their insurance coverage. ADVERTISEMENTOh, and I was just notified that my Medicare Advantage plan is being dropped by UCare!! If this is your notion of adequate (Trump said, "great") health care, you are living on a different planet than the rest of us.
