BRAINERD — The Heartland Symphony Orchestra will begin its 49th season by performing its Fall Concert Series “Opening Nights.”The program will highlight Steve Zander on Vaughan Williams’ “The Lark Ascending,” published by Boosey and Hawkes, and the world premiere of Kyle W. Brown’s “Radiant,” written specifically for Heartland Symphony Orchestra. ADVERTISEMENTThe Saturday, Oct. 11, performance in Little Falls will take place at the Charles D. Martin Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Brown plays piccolo in the Heartland Symphony Orchestra and principal flute in the Central Lakes Wind Symphony. These informational conversations provide audience members with an “inside scoop” on the music of the performance they are about to attend. Heartland Symphony Orchestra welcomes audience members of all ages to our performances, free of charge.
