Ubisoft and Tencent have officially slapped a name on their shiny new division.
The spin-off—established earlier this year after Tencent sunk around $1.25 billion into Ubisoft—is called Vantage Studios and will oversee key franchises Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, and Rainbow Six.
Vantage will comprise Ubisoft's studios in Montréal, Quebec, Sherbrooke, Saguenay, Barcelona, and Sofia—meaning it will unite thousands of developers under one banner.
"The goal of Vantage Studios, and future creative houses, is to facilitate stronger and deeper connections between developers and players."
Ubisoft claimed establishing creative houses will grant its development teams more autonomy and enable them to more easily solicit feedback from players.
