Meet the local Gorham candidates at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 30, at Baxter Memorial Library, 71 South St.Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 4. On the School Committee, two candidates — Jeffery Ballard and Lowansa Tompkins — are running for two seats. Each is a seven-member board and all the available seats are for three-year terms. Only one candidate, Paulette Tateishi, is running for the one-year School Committee term.
