KANDAHAR CITY (Pajhwok): Five people have been killed and five others injured in an explosion at a vehicle terminal near the Durand Line in Chaman, Balochistan, local sources confirmed. The explosion occurred around 8:00pm on Thursday night at the “Haji Bawal” vehicle terminal, a busy location near the Chaman–Spin Boldak border crossing. Khair Mohammad, a resident of Chaman, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the victims were local laborers involved in transporting goods across the Durand Line. According to Ghaffar, five individuals were killed and five others wounded in the explosion. Most of the victims were residents of Chaman, he added, though he did not provide further details.
